Thanks for the great tutorials. It’s great to find info from a person that understands the importance of drawing/painting from life to get a better grasp on the subtleties that often make or break an otherwise well crafted image.
The foreground / middle ground / background layering really helps add visual interest, as does the moisture trails that suggest time passing.
If I may, I’d like to suggest that the heart shape might benefit from a little variation and “imperfection” in the edges.If that’s not the trick, maybe it’s just a matter of bringing the idea of the existing moisture trails to it in some way…water collection points at an intersection or something?
